Contribute Directly (on-line donations currently not available)

You can make your tax-deductible contributions directly to the Council and will be acknowledged via letter. Upon your request, your donation will be applied to any combination of shelter (including utility help), food, and clothing for the poor and those in need who reach out for our assistance. As well, you may designate a portion of your donation for the training and development of Vincentians.

Currently, all our works are made possible through volunteers.  Thus, our District Council’s operating expenses are extremely low.  In 2022 our administrative costs were less than 2%.  Across the whole of the Society of St Vincent de Paul in the U.S. the per cent of admin costs are the lowest among all charities serving the poor. Your direct donation should be mailed to:

Diocese of Colorado Springs
District Council of the Society of St Vincent de Paul
22 West Kiowa
Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Please Note:  You may also make your donation specific to the St. Vincent de Paul Conference at your parish if one is present there.

Bequests:  Bequests provide a way to make a lasting impact on the quality of life for those in economic distress. Bequests to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are exempt from federal estate taxes, thus the Society is able to use a donor’s full amount for its specified purposes. If this is a form of donation you wish to consider, please consult with your legal and/or financial advisors on the manner and method such an act will be conveyed to our District Council at the address above. Please contact our District Council at info@svdpcos.org for more information.

Memorials: Your financial gift to help those in need, made in lieu of flowers, is another means to pay tribute to the memory of deceased relatives and friends. When such donation is received, the District Council will send an appropriate acknowledgement to those you request to be informed to advise them of your special gift to the Society of St Vincent de Paul in the memory of the decedent.
